Applying for a USI - Unique Student Identifier

A USI is made up of 10 numbers and is required by all students who are undertaking nationally recognised training and courses.  If you do not have a USI would will not recieve your qualification or statement of attainment.  For any of you looking to go to University, study at Tafe or complete an apprenticeship or traineeship you will need a USI!

To create your USI follow the link below or come and visit me in the careers office.  You will need to verify your identity which requires an Australian document such as a passport, driver's license or birth certificate.

Remember to write your USI down and keep it in a secure location - it is the number you will use throughout your entire education from here on out!

Tax File Number

If you are old enough to start working and thinking about finding your first job, you will need a tax file number (TFN).  You will keep this unique number for life and take it with you to every job you work, so it is important to keep it safe!
